13th May 2008: P7 pupils Team Building Activities with IRA Pupils

18th -23rd May 2008: School trip to Belgium/Paris

20th May 2008: P1-P3 Generation Science visiting with "Day/Night". £1 per pupil

21st May 2008: P4-P7 Generation Science visiting with "Future Earth". £1 per pupil

23rd May 2008: P7 cycle training-catch up session

26th May 2008: Safe Highlander's & Islander's for Primary 7's. Depart from school at 0850

26th May 2008: P7 cycle training-final assessment

28th May 2008: P7 Choices for Life @ Inverness Leisure Centre from 11.00am to 13.00pm. £2 per pupil

27th June 2008: School closed for Summer Holidays at 12 noon

18th August 2008: In-service Day

19th August 2008: School re-opens to pupils

10th October 2008: School closes for October holidays

27th October 2008: School re-opens

19th December 2008: School closes for Christmas holidays

The school tries to arrange an annual concert for parents and the community. Classes also occasionally put on assemblies which parents are invited to. In the evening there are a number of clubs who use the school facilities that the pupils can join such as Dancing and Girls Brigade. Regular football practices for pupils from P2 to P7 take place after school.

The school also enters swimming, girl's hockey, badminton,basketball and football teams for certain competitions and an athletics team represents Cauldeen and at the Inter-School Sports competing against other schools.

Parents are encouraged to assist with extra curricular, breakfast club, activites and also to help out within the school..

Breakfast Club

The breakfast club continues to be a great success. Running times are:
8.30 - 9.00 am for P4 - P7
9.00 - 9.30 am for P1 - P3
Pupils who are in receipt of free school meals are also entitled to free breakfasts. Cauldeen Primary is one of the few schools offering this facility to their pupils
